The 15th edition of the Global Days of Action on Military Spending (GDAMS) will take place from April 10 to May 9, 2026. This year’s GDAMS will include actions and webinars happening during the following days:
April 15: Tax Day in the U.S. —At the initiative of Taxpayers Against Genocide, numerous U.S. organizations have signed onto “A Pledge to Take Action on U.S. Tax Day April 15, 2026: STOP USING Our Tax Dollars to fund Genocide and Oppression in the U.S. and Abroad.”
April 22: Earth Day
April 27: SIPRI’s release of new data on military spending
May 1: World BEYOND War will publish a new edition of Mapping Militarism
May 9: Europe’s Day of Peace
