Today, the US and Iran traded their first major attacks since the April ceasefire. Trump has once again threatened to blow Iran “off the face of the Earth” while unleashing “Project Freedom” warships into the Strait of Hormuz. With ongoing attacks already threatening one of the world’s most critical energy routes, any further escalation with have devastating knock-on effects for working people already struggling with energy and food costs.
