On May 16 in central London, we march again to commemorate the Nakba, the catastrophe that saw over 750,000 Palestinians expelled from their homes, laying the groundwork for decades of ongoing oppression.
We’re marching to reaffirm our commitment to the rights of the Palestinian people, including the refugees’ right of return, and to demand the British government end its complicity in Israel’s genocide. We need you to join us.
PSC branches and allies up and down the country are organising coaches to bring people to London for the march – have you booked your place yet?
In the past week, senior politicians have defamed our solidarity movement and threatened to further restrict our marches. They want us off the streets because they don’t want us to call out their complicity in Israel’s crimes.
This year, outspoken supporter of Israel’s genocide and far-right thug Tommy Robinson has called on his supporters to mobilise for a racist demonstration on the same day as our march.
We won’t be backing down, but we need your help.
We need to make this one of the biggest demonstrations in British political history. If everyone reading this email found 3 friends, colleagues or family members to bring to London on 16 May we could make sure our voices are heard loud and clear in support of Palestine.
Can you take 2 minutes to spread the word?
We need everyone who cares about justice and freedom for Palestine to join us on the streets of London.
The far right wants to divide us and drive us off the streets. The government wants us to give up on our solidarity with the Palestinian people. On Saturday 16 May, join us on this historic march to show that unity and solidarity will prevail.
Hope to see you on the streets.
In solidarity,
George
