Today is Nakba Day, commemorating the 750,000 Palestinians that were violently displaced by the creation of Israel in 1948. Disgracefully the displacement and persecution of Palestinians continues. The genocide in Gaza witnessed over the last three years and the violence and repeated attacks by settlers in the West Bank show the global Palestine movement is as relevant as ever. 

Tomorrow’s Nakba march in London has been given additional significance by the government’s attacks on the movement and on our right to protest, as well as by the provocative move by Tommy Robnson’s Unite the Kingdom to march on the same day. 

But while the Nakba continues we will not be silenced. This is why everyone who believes in a free Palestine must unite and stand with us for Palestine and in opposition to the hatred of the far right. Join us on Saturday.
