CND has been working flat out to draw attention to the accelerating nuclear dangers, to highlight the role of US bases in Britain making the world more dangerous, and to make the case for nuclear disarmament. With your support, we can continue to meet all these growing challenges.

Whilst the ongoing tragedy of the Ukraine war continues to take hundreds of lives and threaten the risk of nuclear war, the US and Israeli illegal war on Iran has now unleashed further horrors onto the world. Despite a fragile ceasefire, the nuclear dangers of this conflict remain, and we are yet to feel the full impact of the far-reaching economic damage. In Britain, the government is under intense pressure to end its military support for the Trump administration’s deadly wars. Public opinion overwhelmingly opposes the war on Iran and wants US bases in Britain shut down. This reflects a growing level of public understanding about the dangers of Britain’s military alliance with the US – and most significantly, Britain’s nuclear dependence on the United States.

Your donation to CND will help us organise more protests against growing nuclear threats and Trump’s use of British bases for war crimes. It will build our campaign to halt the war drive and reverse military spending hikes. And it will help strengthen our parliamentary lobbying against Britain’s nuclear expansion.
