The Conference was a great success!
Together we can build a mass international movement
Thanks again to all who came to, watched or supported Saturday’s terrific International Conference Against War. It was undoubtedly a leap forward for the international movement. This was underlined yesterday with the million strong Spanish UGT union issuing a statement supporting the conference and the call.
Nearly three thousand people attended in person from at least 27 countries. The conference was supported by 14 UK national unions, one hundred other UK organisations and 116 regional and local union bodies.
Delegates attended from the CGT union branch of the biggest hospital complex in Europe in Paris, from the Federation of Industry of the Spanish CCOO, the Dockworkers in Piraeus Greece and many many more.

We urge all who support the aims of the conference to start organising now to build these actions and to help create mass international resistance to the drive to war.

- Encourage other union bodies and organisations to do the same.
- Organise local activist meetings pulling together trade unionists and others to start building the actions.
