CND: We're halfway to our Hiroshima & Nagasaki appeal target – can you help us get there?

Thank you to everyone who has supported our special anniversary appeal so far. Together, you’ve helped us raise £8,800 towards our £17,000 target – we’re almost halfway there!

We launched this appeal to mark 81 years since the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, and to make sure the devastating human consequences of nuclear weapons are not forgotten.

But remembrance must lead to action.

With the threats of nuclear use only growing, our campaigning has never been more urgent. We’re exposing the government’s deadly nuclear expansion and its out-of-control costs, working with politicians and trade unions, climate activists and students to build support for peace and disarmament.

We’d love to reach our full appeal target before the end of August.
